Oneupweb : Target Targets Black Friday Shoppers

I must confess, I have never shopped on Black Friday. I’m not by any means an anti-shopper and if there’s any coupon queen, it’s me. I’m naturally an early bird, so the ridiculous morning wake up isn’t what keeps me from Black Friday madness either. Perhaps the one reason I’m not gung ho about fleeing to the stores the day after Thanksgiving is because I’m quite content with relaxing during the weekend of giving thanks. And well, to be quite honest, I’m not one for pushy, obnoxious middle-aged women scouring the stores. I don’t care for people reaching for the same hangers on the rack as me, or crowding consumers hovering over me to grab items off shelves. Personal space is definitely something I am thankful for.

However, if I were to do the whole Black Friday adventure, I would be sure to hit up Target. No…they aren’t paying me to write this. So, why would I flock to Target on the busiest shopping day of the year? Well, they seem the most organized and customer friendly. For goodness sakes they even have a whole page on their site dedicated to the BIG Black event: Target.com/BlackFriday. So what’s so snazzy about the site? Target has made store maps for the convenience of their customers! Wow, nothing like strategic shopping—I’m all about knowing what the best route is to hitting up all the aisles I need to visit.

Shopping lists are also a huge part of my shopping strategy. In fact I’ve been told I’m a pro list maker/planning freak. Even my grocery lists are organized by produce, chilled items, etc. Target stresses the importance with one of their many tips for Black Friday. Check out their list tip in the video below:

Hmmm this list reminds me of Santa’s actual list. Have you scoped out NaughtyListed.com yet? Be sure to let Santa know who’s been naughty this year.
