Ask previews by default,
Google doesn't.
And Google's layout has gone from the best to the worst.

Google is a way better search engine, mainly because i can preview a small sample of each and every link before i click it to see if it talks about

Since Javascript is invisible in search engines, Ask and Google cannot filter websites based on the types of advertisements these websites display. However, Google tends to rank high PR and faster-loading websites higher in SEPRs. I'm fully satisfied by both Google and Ask, but have been using Ask more lately because I'm tired of using Google....

Using the search term: "google versus ask" this page was the 3rd result (the 2nd result was a sub of the 1st), while ask.com did not include this page at all.

Actually, google had more accurate results on its page than ask.com that only had two. Those two were not comparisions, but articles explaining what the two were planning.

While I agree that the layout is very important, its meanless if the results are not accurate. Accurate results is why google grew to be so popular in the first place. But yes, I agree. They need a facelift.

Thank you for the input I hope to see more comparisions of these two battling search engines.
